Default My Attempt

Here is my attempt for this month. Did not get out much - so grabbed this this morning while out for a walk.

Well, like they say... (beachboy)
better late than never...

I wasn't able to get out to get the photo I wanted because I just got my camera back Friday night, so I thought I put this one up just for the fun of it. taken Sat. evening on the way back home from Daytona.

Here is one I shot through the windshield as we were approaching...yes Linda was driving.
What a mess of wires!

What a Mickey Mouse contraption that is!

Glad to see you got your camera back - did they say what they did to fix it?

Hey Pen,
Thanks for asking. No, as far as I can tell, they didn't do anything! they put it on there computer and said everything checked out ok. it's still acting up, sometime works sometimes it wont. the one button bracketing still doesn't work at all so, I'll be giving them a call on Monday.

Thanks, GW. I think you may be right. They probably are closer to 40 feet tall. It was a long time ago, but I thought they used to be individually enclosed in fences. I had planned on getting down on the ground (or close to it) and getting a shot up it. This was as close as I could get as they now enclose the whole field in one fence.

I could be wrong but I was thinking they were about twice that size.

Guess I'll start the voting since no one else has. Probably because this thread has gotten buried and I stumbled upon in trying to get caught up on what I've missed.

My vote goes to Ronnie (rhermans) for his tulips. Tall doesn't always have to be "tall".

I do also like Phil's (Black Knight) Amistead, although he said it didn't qualify. One again lots of nice ideas posted.

So, Ronnie gets my vote.

I have to go with Patty's photo. Although some of the others show greater height due to close-up shots, I love the color scheme of the pic. Great job everybody!

I'm in another one of those where my favorite picture is Patty's oil rig, but I think bb2's communications tower fits this month's topic best. So I'll vote for bb2 with an honorable mention to Patty.
