I like Rherman's tall Tulips and Jelpies FE woods view, although perhaps its more claustrophobic than tall?
I'll give my vote to Daz's aerial.
Cheers

Goldwinger's tower was electrifying. It really brought a smile to my face.

The picture I liked the most was nhmoms but a Grasshopper oil rig to me did not fit the intent of the challange.

In the end the tower I liked the most was beachboy2's tower on Mt. Wellington. The tower was tall, it's shpe was for me unusual and the view breathtaking.

Time for a bump and a vote:

This topic struck me as being extremely challenging (as it should be since it is called a challenge). In looking at this topic, I finally figured that I should judge based on how best an image captures "tall" with as much detail. Two images made my final list: Hot Springs Mountain Tower by Paul (Trojansoc) and the Gum Tree by Rodney9. After much waffling, I'm voting for Rodney 9's Gum Tree with a very strong honorable mention to Paul's Hot Springs Mountain Tower. Nice job guys!

Well... this is really hard to judge, I like so many of them! Ronnie's Tulips are exquisite! as was Harriet's Sequoia trees. Patty's Oil rig I really like. I could go on and on, they are all so good but, I'm going to have to go with BB2's com tower shot. it just wowed me!

Lots of towering images, good photos all, but to apply a strict definition, not too many towers. Of the latter photos, the one that to me is most aesthetically pleasing is BB2's communications tower which is a fine photo in its own right, so I will go with that as my winner. Of the first group, Honorable Mention to Black Knights sailing ship mast, which evokes memories of simpler, more romantic times.

My favorite photo of the month was Patty's oil rig, but my vote goes to Phil's sailing mast because I think it better conveys the theme of "Tall."

I must admit I had the wrong thing in mind when I was working on this challenge. I had the word tall in mind, not towers. I'll pay more attention next month.
