Well... we have a tie between Ronny and BB2, 4 votes each.
Paul, you have a chance to break the tie because you voted on a non entry photo.

OOOPS....I should read the text before I vote. I hate having to choose between two truly outstanding photos. I really like Ronny's tulips and there is no question they purvey the theme of the challenge in terms of scale...but the majesty of BB2's photo makes the difference for me. That's the direction I'll vote.

OK, and the winner is...
BB2 by a nose!
Congratulations my friend, and now you're stuck with having to pic the theme for June's challenge.

I really enjoyed doing this this month and want to thank everyone that participated. I liked every picture that was posted and each was a winner in its own right. we have a great bunch of photographers here and it makes it really difficult to pick one that's outstanding. keep up the good work guys!
BTW, when I say "guys" that's generic for both sexes.

P.S.
I wanted to apologize for taking so long to post the winner, things have been a little hectic this weekend. My sister passed away Saturday morning from a long battle with cancer. She was quite a brave little warrior, she survived for 5 years after they said she only had 6 months.
Thanks for your patients.

Congratulations, bb2. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

GW - No problem on the "guys". Are you originally from CA? I use that term all the time and people in New England tease me about it quite often. So, I'm certainly not offended by it.

Also, my condolences on the passing of your sister.

Patty

Congrats bb2! And I'm another one who uses "guys" all the time as a generic term, I never think about it. But I got quite a bit of grief over it, can't quite remember where I was though.

GW - sorry to hear of your loss, it's always tough to lose a close relative, even when its expected.
