Default Yesterday's Birds

Yesterday was the first day in two or three weeks that the rain held off long enough for me to get out and shoot birds....turned out to be a good day as I photographed a half-dozen or more species that I had never shot before. I've posted a couple of these in the Wildlife forum, but here are some of my favorites from yesterday

Today, the sun is actually out. Unfortunately, another result of the rain is that parts of my yard are nearly knee-high.....

Ah well.....maybe this afternoon

Paul

Well the lay off didn't hurt a thing. Mighty fine captures.

Although nr2 is really funny, nr1 is imho the best.

Love the pictures!

And can you send some of that rain our direction? It's hot and dry already.

No 1 is fantastic, great detail. The second looks good too, maybe some nest building going on.

Paul - some great photos - fine subjects, amazing detail, wonderful action, lovely color. Looks like our rainy weather has given you a great "crop" of feathered friends!
