Default Candy

at least for your eye. Our gardenia is blooming and over the last couple of days, I've been trying to get this shot of a blossom just before it opens. Took me a while to get one at the right stage.

Very beautiful sequence, Jim. On its own, I don't care so much for the first, but coupled with the open bloom, it's really outstanding.

Terrific sequence shots, the first one does look yummy, like one those old fashioned boiled lollies.

We used to have gardenias in the yard when I was growing up. I never noticed how they look before they open. Interesting. The second one is beautiful.

An interesting series - I really like the second one. The first one is different, well done, and I can see what attracted you to it. It's not classically beautiful like the second one, but as an abstract, it's cool.
