Don't really like the first one, but the second one is gorgeous, great subject and really like the dof of the shot.

Interesting two pictures - very different shots. I think I tend to agree with Ronny - the first one is technically very good, as good as it gets. I'm just not crazy about the color combination of the leaf. It sure is odd-looking - what does the rest of the plant look like?

The second one is awesome!

The first is intriguing - what plant is it? The second is such a lovely treatment of a delicate fern. We have 2 species of maidenhair fern here - which species is yours?
