I love the lighthouse patty and the exposure looks pretty near perfect on my screen.

Thanks, everyone. It was a nice relaxing day after the weeks before. Some of these were cropped quite a bit. I am very impressed with the K20. Even though I really need to practice with my hand holding, I don't think I could have gotten these shots with my K100. I am still amazed by the shots I get with the 70-300. It's my favorite lens right now.

The gulls were hard to get standing still. There were lots of people around and they were moving quite a bit.

Patty, I did not see the picture of the lighthouse when I first responded to you post. That's a nice image...full of character and the lonely gull adds a special touch!

Thanks, jelpee. I must confess I was waiting for the seagulls to be in the photo to press the shutter button. I have others with more gulls, but I must have waited too long. They aren't clear like this one.

I was having problems getting the lighthouse. It was a very dreary overcast day. When at the lighthouse I had on the Tamron 70-300 lens and it was too windy to switch lenses. I may have lightened this up too much.
I like this one - I don't think you did anything wrong with it. It is a nice image.

Thank you, penolta. I think I just wished the sky was bluer instead of the clouds. Although, I've been out there on a bright, sunny day and it's just too bright.
