While you were at it, couldn't you have gotten a bigger picture of that little "fly"? In fact, I don't think it is a fly at all, but probably a little parasitic Chalcid wasp about to lay an egg in the caterpillar!

thanks for the link, I enjoyed it. that was back before I joined the forum so I hadn't see it.

sorry this is as big as it gets, If I see another one I get out the 16X TC and see what I can come up with!
