Default Down By The River

The Brisbane River, late afternoon. This was my old playground as a kid, we use to have ropes to swing off the Gum trees like this one, those were the days.
Taken with my Pentax-DA 18-55 mm F3.5-5.6AL II and K20D

A beautiful photo, Rodney.
Must admit I didn't know there was this much water on the Australian continent! 60% of the shots from AU published in our magazines here are Ayers Rock and the other 60% are of the Opera House in Sydney. A big Thanks! to you and the other aussies on this forum for showing us more.

A lovely, tranquil spot - could sit there for hours. Very nice picture, it would make a good wallpaper picture for when I'm at work feeling frustrated. A couple of minutes looking at that scene and I'd be able to cope with anything (if you could get my mind back on things!).

Thank You Harriet, I agree with you, I am going to get some quotes on putting it on canvas or simply enlarging for the wall.

Looks like a spot to wind down, can understand why you would want to spend time there

Thank You Ronny, Big Dawg, thankfully no crocs, just a few sharks.

Rodney,

Very serene setting. Looking at it is good medicine. Nicely captured as well!
