that lens is great, and those small 'plaything' looking raynox close up lenses work for me a lot better than extention tubes.

sad to say I had the same experience 10 days back while visiting a butterfly garden. Packed with a bunch off kids enjoying themselves by running around and scaring the butterflies.

Hope next time you visit those gardens it will turn out great.
