Roy just for what its worth, I'm using a Kingston class 4 -16gig I got for $39 that suits me fine. I shoot raw and found I was filling up my 4gig to quickly. but then, I shoot 500-1000 pix when I go some place to shoot.

I've been using Ultra II cards pretty much ever since I got the DS. At the moment I'm using one 8 GB Ultra II as my main card, with a couple of 4 GB for back-up (one of those is in the K100). If I shot sports I might be more interested in faster cards, but these seem to do fine for my needs.

Even Though i only have the K200D. Like H. Since i got the DS I have always used Sandisk Ultra 2. Currently using several 2 gig cards. With About 6-1 gig in reserve.

I bought the Sandisk Ultra II 16GB card from amazon.com for $40 shipped two weeks ago. It seemed like the price went up to $44.74 since I bought it. I use that as my main card. I also keep a spare Kingston 8GB card in my battery grip just in case.

I would avoid ebay for buying the Sandisk brand card, too many fakes there.

I've got two SanDisk Ultra II 4GB cards I switch back and forth between. Also, have a Lexar Pro 2 GB 133x speed card. Just found that when I switch to RAW I fill that card too quickly. So, it's mostly in my bag in case one of my other ones fails.

On my recent trip to CA, I downloaded my images to the laptop each day. But, until I had a second copy on my external hard drive did I delete photos off the cards.

I can't say I've used the K20 for multiple images where I need speed writing to the card. But, haven't experienced any problems with needing to wait with the San Disk cards. I had been using the Lexar with the K100 and did have some times where I was waiting on the writing to the card.
