Default Big Waves on a big Lake

Not the best picture, but does capture some big waves on a big lake.

Moose Pond, ME Memorial Day Week End.

Too much wake? or Too much PS?

I may change this later if I can get something a little wackier.

Wow, you must have a powerful boat if you can cause the land to wave too...

I knew that I shouldn't have ordered the dual exhaust option on the boat!

Hmmm, been lurking rather than posting. Very rude!

This is the wake from a cross channel (The English Channel or La Manche if you're French) ferry. It'll do as a place holder

I can think of several types of waves, but I haven't been in a position to take pictures of any of them. So here's a place-keeper, until I can get a better picture. I spent lunch time getting frustrated and wondering how people can make their living shooting products. Of course, I would assume that they dust their subjects occasionally, and they don't place their subjects in a small corner of an upper cabinet. I got some really strange looks as I was standing on my desk, fiddling around with the flash and a reflector. There wasn't enough room to use the tripod. Of course, I could have unplugged and moved everything, but then I wouldn't be able to listen to soothing music as I got frustrated.
