Default New Toy

Picked up a Sigma 300mm 2.8 EX DG lens today and so far I like it. Took this with the K20D and the Sigma using AF today in the park.

Tom,

Nice shot. Looks like a lens you will get much joy using. Any sharper and you'd be cutting yourself!

Very nice. Looks like you'll be keeping this lens.

Looks like a good lens, but I thought you already had a 300 f2.8 lens, don't you?

Congrats, Tom! Id' like to see some more pictures, also of the lens itself.

Hi Tom,

Congrats on the new lens!!! IIRC, you also have a Sigma 300/2.8 MF?

I've got the pre-DG model and like it, so I know that you'll be happy with this lens, which is supposed to be a bit better than the one I have.

The only real objection I have to my Sigma is the lack of strap lugs. I've been thinking about installing some rifle sling swivels on the tripod ring, but haven't gotten around to actually doing it.
