Wow, are you right or what Roy!

I need to figure this out before I go broke, but when I use the K10D or DS along with the K20D, which I do quite a bit and for some reason I have convinced myself I need at least 300mm on both cameras when I am birding.

The FA*300 4.5 is sharp with good contrast (love a lens with contrast) and amazingly light for shooting hand held shots. The Sigma APO 300mm 2.8 MF is also sharp with great contrast, but does need at least a monopod for support. The Sigma 300mm 2.8 DG is sharp, but not with as much contrast and requires serious support, but focus is so much faster than the FA*.

That definitely is a serious piece of a lot of heavy stuff! Thanks for posting.
