Default On board HDR with the K10D

Not sure if the hdr feature in K7 can do subtle tone mapping or eliminate ghosting effect, but using the multiexposure mode in Manual mode, I think the K10D can yield some acceptable results on board requiring no computer or software. The pictures below were shot in raw and straight from the camera! Oh, btw, sorry for the mess

#1) The on board hdr. It writes 1/25'', F/8 in the exif

#2) Single shot @0.6'' F/8

#3) Single shot @1/6'' f/8

#4) Single shot @ 1/25'' F/8

Well, of course, nothing's like a tone mapped HDR from a dedicated software:

Thank you for your kind interest my friend! Perhaps I shall wait till K9 ...and invest on a Metz 58 AF-1 instead.

Well, let's see... K7, then K8, K9... OK, I have a K10, does that make me ahead of the game?

Seriously though, the more I read about the K7 the more I want one! The Metzs is a sweet little flash but, not sure it's worth the money compared with the AF540

So, let alone K 9, even no worries until K 11 I also have an eye ( a keen one!!) on K 7 , but considering starting photograpy seriously, after taking tons of pictures, I don't think we will miss a lot since it's even possible to shoot on board hdr with the K10D. Anyway, time will show as the number of reviews increase. Well, as for the flash unit the reason I favour the 58 AF-1 is that it's the same prize with the AF 540 in Turkey, although according what I've read so far here and there ( and I read quite an extensive one recently) people who own both usually tend to put 58 AF in the first place of their order of preference.

Yes, if the price is the same, I would too!
