Wow!!!! Beautifully taken Photo of a handsome specimen. These look like textbook photos. You got everything nailed down, exposure, Focus and composition. Nice lens You've got there as well.

Patty, I didn't even think about it but, you're right. Every time I do manage to get a fairly good shot, the wings are pretty rough.

GW - Beautiful Black Swallowtail photos! Bugs nice and sharp, background nicely blurred. I agree, it does seem that the old, tattered ones are easier to approach...
