Hey, Ira, as I said before I can't afford this right now. Neither the WA or the car. But my wife agrees that when it's my turn to get a newer car, it might just as well be a bit sporty, since her's is a very practical combi. So I'll follow in your footsteps, just as usual. You do push me with that shot, you realize that?

Our family transportation module is a Mazda 5 so this is the toy for Annette and I. I will probably store it winters.

ira,
this is only 1 of 2 lenses i want..
or the 12-24 rectilinear.. i know i'll suffer from it but i just don't want a fish eye..
other lens is a AF 300mm.. it'll be a cold day in he!! when i get either one. i've got 3 300mm now but if you're using a rifle stock grip then the MF is a PITA..

Roy - I have the 12-24 and love it. I'm very glad I bought it because it's so practical. However, it hasn't stopped me wanting a fish-eye, just to play around with and do creative sort of stuff. And the 300? I sort-of hinted that I might like the DA*300 but my other half really fell over when he saw the price. He said for that price, he would much rather get me the K-7!

Harriet, I think you have refined your strategy to the level of fine art!

Good move on the car, Ira. Nice one.

Harriet - Good stategy. I've been known to use that one a time or two. That's how I got the K20 at Christmas. It was his idea
