Default Dog Day Morning

Several of you commented on my son's shepherd mix, Kira. This morning was her treat; she got to go to the beach with us, and had a glorious time chasing tennis balls out into the surf and working on learning to catch a frisbee.

The frisbee lessons were fun for all...till she bit it in two. She understands the concept, but is having trouble making the catch

Even when she got tired....NOBODY was touching Kira's toys...

What nice action shots of her, she sure is having a great time. I thought the last one looks more like "Hey, come on - I'm tired but I'm still game to play, just come and we'll play tug-of-war." It also shows just how long her tongue is!

What fun!
Great shots too. the German Shepard is capable of a thousand pounds of pressure in there jaws so, I'm not surprised she bit it in two.

Great action shots.

I don't doubt that she will master the frisbee sooner than later. Cleaning the sand from the tongue may take longer.
