Excellent shots! I feel for that poor hawk, at least he had a safe place to shelter for a bit.

Can you send some of that rain over our direction? It's getting hot and everything is really dry, we sure could use some rain. I doubt we'll see anything but a thunderstorm or two until fall - grim thought.

mtngal - I initialy thought the same thing but in hind sight I think he was actually using the rain to bathe his flight feathers as he was standing and constantly extending and retracting his wings into the downpour.

As far as sending you the rain, if I could I would, but I can't. I guess it shows that no one is ever content with the weather they have.
