I'll cast my vote for jelpee's "Pebbles". The image has a Zen-like quality about it that appeals to me.

Regards

Well, I liked jelpee's rock pile when I first saw it and still like it best. Although, there were lots of interesting interpretations. I like cameanee's "out of the box" interpretation.

But, my vote is to jelpee.

My vote is for simowills's shoreline rocks. The oranger contrast with the ocean works very well for the shot and pulls in your view! Great job!

I liked Jelpee's shot from the get-go, so it gets my vote.

Well...
I find 4 of the shots are really outstanding this month.jelpee, Bluenose, Mtnman and simon. If I was going to hang it on the wall, it'd have to be Simon's for the wow factor but, for some reason jelpee's shot has an appeal I can't explain. my vote goes to jelpee.

I like all the photos, nice job everybody!

There are so many great shots here - so many & diverse interpretations of a simple theme, and so much technical excellence. It's hard to pick just one, but I guess I'll go with Jelpee's...

I have to agree with most of the votes so far. Keltech's entry is a lovely shot of a piece of extraordinary craftsmanship. Someone worked very hard to create that beautiful engraving. Mtngal's entry also appeals to me, mostly because I studied geology many years ago. Sandstone is created by sand particles "gluing" themselves together, and as sandstone weathers, the particles come "unglued." Her photo is a wonderful illustration of this endless geologic cycle. But, there's something whimsical and delightful about Jelpee's stacked stones. It makes me grin every time I see it, so Jelpee's shot gets my vote as well.
