Default Flower shots w/ the K-7 (2 IMG)

With my DA* 16-50mm out of commission for a few weeks (sent in for repairs due to non-correctable FF issues), I decided to put my lesser-used Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro lens to good use. I visited the botanical garden at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. The more exotic plants weren't in bloom at the time, so I settled for whatever I could find. The slight breeze also made it difficult to obtain sharp images. I did have a couple decent shots:

90mm, 1/100s @ f/3.2, +1.50EV, ISO 800

90mm, 1/160s @ f/3.5, +0.25EV, ISO 800

Yellow is such a hard color to photo and not have come out either way too dark & muddy or all blown out. You did an amazing job on this one!

Nice shots Jason.

I like #2 best and echo moles comments regarding photographing Yellow flowers.
