Default More cars, K10D + FA 50mm f1.4

Another cruise night at the St. John's A&W. I must say that in spite of having lots of fun with the DL and fisheye it comes down to the K10D/ FA 50 as my favourite camera/lens combo. I am a sucker for limited DOF.

Very nice pictures! I think I like the BFG T/A picture best, the lighting is neat. I'm sure others will choose a different picture, but I've always been partial to BFG AT T/A, a very nice tire.

I agree with Harriet, but the first one has great color.

All nice and sharp. I really like the first one. Of course, I'm partial to purple.

I think I'd like the last one except for the crooked steering wheel. Sorry, that's the accountant part in me. Needing things "organized".

Thanks for the comments:
Picture 1: A Mercury M-100 pickup truck from the early 1950
Picture 2: A 1973 Mustang fastback with aftermarket wheels
Pictures 3 & 4: An absolutely beautiful 1963 Studebaker Hawk GT
Picture 5: An MG Midget

I have stopped taking snapshots of cars, if I just want to know what they look I can look it up on the internet. Details are far more interesting.

Thanks again and expect more like this next week.

Ira,

Being an old car geek myself I like them all. #1 though is my favorite.

I have a 1967 Chevelle convertible that I have not had on the road since 1993. I did some work on it last summer and got it started after a few days of work rebuilding the carb. I still have some brake work to do. I was going to put it on the road this year but with all the rain we have had I will wait till next year.

That is a great series, Ira-

The purple really shows up vividly!
