Well, the bikes are next to the fence, not ON it. So they aren't in violation, are they?

Right after I took the shot the owner of the business came out and removed all the bikes (3). Guess he didn't think it was as humorous as I did.

If you want to get that particular the front wheel and right handlebar both were touching the fence-the other two bikes (not shown since I only had my 55-300 zoom) were also touching the fence. It is my interpretation that is "on" the fence.

I thought "on the fence" meant on top of the fence. Now if they had said "No bikes leaning up against the fence" I'd say, send them to the slammer!
