Default Vandals in the park

I was downtown this evening taking some photos when I saw several police cars over at the park. I went over to see what was up and found out some kids had vandalized an art display. Sometimes you just want to take and knock there heads together!

Only good that may come of this is, the news paper said they would use my photos for a story in Thursday paper.

What idiots, I hope your shots do get used in in the newspaper and someone helps the police catch the vandals.

It just amazes me how people can take pleasure from destroying anything (other than perhaps playdough). Nice pictures, though.

I knew all that fancy flash gear you showed us the other day would pay off in spades! LOL

I hope the police can find the perpetrators and you put their picture in the newspaper.

Thanks for looking and commenting guys,

Rodny, I hope they catch them too, and put the fear of God into them before they get in any more trouble.

Harriet, I know just what you mean. I never could understand what people get out of vandalism

John, I agree, not my idea of art either but...
No, no interview, they got that from the police report.

Lou, you think that's something... wait till you see the shoulder mount I'm making!

Thanks for caring, GW-

That is the underlying issue here. You cared enough to do something about it.
That being a good citizen.

I serve on my town's selectboard, and this past spring we had a severe bout of vandalism at a town playground. We had to keep the playground closed during the April school vacation, which angered many parents. It's beyond infuriating. I just can't imagine what motivates such behavior. I'm sorry for what they did in your community; unfortunately you guys are not alone. It happens everywhere.

What a shame. Hopefully they catch the guys and make them pay for what they did.

GW - glad to see that your skills can help the police, and perhaps awaken others to the vandalism problem in general. Thanks for caring!
