I can see why it is your favorite lens. I love that Crested Pigeon, but you shouldn't be posting Butcher Bird pictures like that where children could see them - they will have nightmares for sure!

I was thinking the same thing about the Butcher Bird. Yikes! He looks like he'd eat you in one gulp.

Your crested pigeon is a wonderful shot, I love the way that one came out. And of course I love the lorikeet. Are butcher birds as fierce as that one looks?

I like them all but the Crested pigeon with the Mauve background and the touch of Mauve in it's feathers is a first rate bird portrait.

Nice use of that new lens!
