Default Old footbridge

Highland Lake Brigeton, ME overflows and travels a short distance and goes under the subject foot bridge and forms Willett Brook.

The old footbridge is also as a spillway. I shot it from several angles. The bridge is always planted with flowers and is the focal point of a small park.

Pictures taken with K100D and Tamron 18-250mm.

Highland Lake

I cloned out the branch under the bridge.

A lovely series and looks like a great place to relax.

I think the first and last need a little rotational tweak but just minor changes to make these spot on .

Nice work!!

Mark,

I have made the minor rotational changes. Hope these look better now. The old bridge was out of plumb in so many places that I got confused. I settled on the stone work on the right hand side of the support column.

The Lake was off I think on the horizon level of the water itself. Again I got confused by all the vertical and horizontal objects in the foreground.

Glad you enjoyed the series and thanks for pointing out the errors.

Lou

Very nice, Lou. Like Mark said, looks like a nice relaxing place. I really like the second image.

Nice series, interesting to see how it works, your shots show that well, but I too like the the beautiful second shot.

Lou - very interesting series - illustrates both the natural beauty of this fine spot, and the technical details of how it is maintained. I especially liked the 2nd one, great composition and interesting contrast of natural/man-made. But all are great!

Mark, Patty, GW, Rodny, Mole & Mtngal. Thanks. Looks like #2 is the universal winner as it is my favorite as well.
