Taken with my K20D and Pentax DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED
All cropped and resized, this one, tweaked, hopefully to good effect.

wow
thats fast

not sure i would want to go that fast with a dirty great motor like that right in front of my face

i went down to the Bells rapids last weekend to watch some canoers practising for the Avon decent, i was going to put some photos up, but they look tame by comparison
lol

Rodney, that boat is on steroids!

The first shot of the boat throwing up the rooster tail is spectacular. You really nailed these shots. I like the treatment on the last one very much.

Cool shots. I hope that second one was at 300mm.

Really love the 3rd one great work. What editing did you do from the original to get this effect? The lighting was a nightmare for you and this edit has used that to great advantage rather than letting it take away from the action.

The first is good but for me the boat needs some space to move into, here it is about to push up against the edge of the frame.

What fun shots, must get pretty hot sitting there between those exhaust pipes.

Really enjoyed these Rod, the last one looks kinda strange for a high speed power boat.
