Love the lighting and sharpness on these - your cat must be very patient. On the other hand, having 300mm does help to get portraits without having to stick the lens into his face. Bet he appreciates that!

Wonderful photos. He seems to have the same disposition as my cat. She wasn't too happy about posing for me when she was alive.

A word to the wise is sufficient....300mm is very handy for cat closeups, unless you like to have the camera ripped from your hands.....lol

Really nice photos...like the detail and color.

I have to say that I took the Pentax 55-300 off
and I used the Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Di
