Default what to put - just some questions

I've never done this before and wondering how I should. Next month I'll be displaying some of my work in a local library's gallery. They suggested I put a card on each of my prints. Any ideas what I should put on the card.

I was thinking the title of the image and location, but didn't know if anything else should go on it. I was going to print them on small business cards.

I went and checked out the gallery and it looks like I should easily be able to display about 30 images. Hubby is saying I should just display some without frames and only mats. This way I don't need to buy a ton of frames. If I only frame maybe a third of them, will that look strange?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks, Patty

i guess if you are looking for business your name and a phone number??

in the past i have scoured second hand shops and charity shops for cheap prints in frames, removed the prints and put my photos in
you would end up with a mishmash of frames most likely

congrats on the display and good luck

Good luck, do you want to sell any, if so, on the cards I would put -
your name, contact details, price and a image number or name.

I don't think it would look strange, some shots suit framing, some look better without.

Default My Experience With Paintings

A number of years ago I worked with watercolors for several years. I thought some of my work was prety good, so I wanted to display it. A number of businesses in town worked with the Art League so each business would for a month let an individual artist display his or her paintings. This was a wonderful idea for getting exposure. My purpose was mostly to inflate my own ego, and I did get lots of favorable comments. I had an offer at most places for a sale, but declined because I want my eight grandchildren to have the best ones when I am gone.
As to your questions: I placed a small card in a lower corner givingmy name only. Mine was a small, 100,000 town, but I did get phone calls with offers to buy. Most offered about what the frame cost me.
My ego did get built up a little, but not a lot.
One nice painting was stolen.
I made a few new friends.
I framed and glassed everything, fearing vandalism.
Were I showing photos, I would show matted only.
You don't need glass, you can make more prints.
If you want to sell, state fair price, and don't hold your breath. You won't be bothered by people wanting something for nothing.
If you are listed in white pages, I would not give phone or address.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
During my many years I have done a lot of artistic things, photographs, watercolors, wooden lathe turnings, gunstocks, scrimshaw, furniture, one novel, one storybook, one instruction manual, poems. I also caught a lot of nice fish, but mounted none. Have some nice turkey fans and one deer head.
I think it is too late now, and now I live in a large metropolitan city where displays don't get much attention, but I had, when younger, now 82, thought about displaying everything I have done at one time in a hall. I guess now I will settle for a few thing displayed at my funeral, and am thinking of giving my family instructions about how to do it. Any suggestions

Congrats on the exhibition. I can't help with the question but if you give me the dates, Evie and I will try and come up and see it.

First, congrats on the display.

As for the card? How about:

"Starving photographer - please give generously"
