Its been a while since I've posted, but we have been working on getting settled back into the USA (Toledo, OH) and a new job with a local church. No, this isn't Lake Erie! It this was taken while we were visiting our kids in Virginia Beach.

So, no matter what I did, the focus point on the Pentax 50mm 1.4 seemed to not be where I wanted it to be. Could be me rushing it, as the crowds seemed to not want me in their way.

Paul, our skies kind of look like that right now, but instead of clouds it's smoke.

Love your hats! I had thought about something along those lines, but pictured a blue ball on green grass or something like that. Your hats are very much more interesting than what I probably could have come up with.

Well, it is time to vote! What a great variety of images--great participation this month! Of course with all these images to choose from, picking one is going to be tough.

I hold of on voting until now and perhaps chime in if there is a need for a tie breaker....but the rest of ya'll can start.

As always a great selection of photos. However, the minute I saw Harriett's I thought "That's the one for me"; and it still is.

There are several I like a lot, like Mole's, Peacekeeper's, Rodneys and Ronny's.

But I surrender to Harriet's. It's just ... Wow!
