Only a "blue" whale in the sense it would not perform for us! A Humpback I think?

Okay, this is tough. So, so many great images. I love the hats, the sundial bridge, the skier, can't even name all the ones I love. But, I especially like Harriet's aquaduct. Maybe it's because I remember when it was being built and being amazed by it every time I spotted it in my travels up and down California over the years.

So, my vote goes to Harriet. Wonderful capture of something so simple.

Last chance to vote. . .I'll tally things up on Saturday morning (U.S. Time). Looks like Harriet has quite a lead going into the home stretch!

Well, let's close the voting. Harriet wins this one with a wide margin (with about 56% of the votes)!

Congratulations! And of course get the bragging rights as well as the honor of picking September's theme!

Thanks everyone for the votes, I feel quite honored. While I loved the shot, I wasn't so sure that those who don't live with constant drought and brown scenery would relate to it.

I'll start another thread with the September challenge.
