It's fine for driving around the block of a neighborhood, as long as there's no major roads around. It has a maximum speed of about 35 mph, so if everyone around you is driving 40-45, it can be a bit scary. You can get canvas doors for one, and there's a pick-up version also. There used to be quite a few at work, but gradually they've faded away.

Those little smart cars would be more practical.

I've seen those vehicles tootling around on college campuses, operated by grounds maintenance crews and campus security officers, but I've never seen one on a public road in traffic. Also, in our climate those vehicles are hopelessly impractical from November till April. But I have to agree, GW, they do look like fun!

almost as good as my old mini moke, at least this one has padded seats (wimps lol )
