Default Profile Falls

Some shots from this weekend. We went up to Bristol, NH and area on Sunday before the rain started. Here are some of the images. Still have some others to process.

This is Profile Falls. They are about 30 feet high and not sure how wide.

A flower at the entrance to the trail. And the water coming down after the falls. At the far end, to the right are the falls, about half this distance.

I'm going to have to go back and look at how the computer resized these. They don't appear at all what they looked like in PSE7.

Looks like beautiful spot Patty! I think you nailed the shutter speed on the falls in image 2. Flowing water always makes for great pictures!

They look pretty good on my Mac monitor, Patty. Especially the flower. If they look different on-line compared to what they looked on the computer, you might want to check what color space you were using in PSE7. I have noticed that sometimes greens and oranges do weird things in Internet Explorer - is that what you are seeing? I'm using Safari and they look really good to me.

It is a beautiful spot. Very peaceful there with the sound of the falls and the water running through the creek. It was snowing last time we were there and this time the weather was just perfect.

It's not the color, that looks fine to me. But, the images aren't showing up as crisp as they were in PSE7. I think I just need to resize a different way. I just used the Windows picture resizer in power tools.

Thanks for the compliments.

Hi Patty,

Beautiful scenery!!!! I will have to try and get up there someday. I occasionally go up that way on business.

They are all lovely pictures. The color looks good on my monitor. The first picture I feel could use some shadow / highlight adjustment so the foreground rocks in the river can be seen but that is just my opinion.

Thank you, Lou. You won't be disappointed if you go. The whole area is lovely.

I had noticed the rocks weren't showing as well when I printed it, too. I think you're right. Can't figure out how to replace the original so here's a newly curves adjusted version. Is this better?
