LOL...
yeah, one macro coming right up! Maybe if he yawns I'll be able to get a good close up of his teeth.

Yes, Patty that's duck weed or more appropriately muck weed!
he's sitting in very shallow water in part of the swamp that got dangerously low during our latest drought. I haven't been back since we started getting some pretty good rains the last couple months, it'll be interesting to see the difference.

Lou, I have the SP90, I just didn't feel like getting down in the muck to get a close up. But, since the demand is so high, I guess I'll just have to it!

I'm really curious as to how this poor guy ended up with his snout smashed in like that. any ideas Dr. P?

Thanks everybody for looking and the comments

I hadn't noticed. Now that you mention it, it doesn't look quite normal, but I have no idea what could have happened.

I guess you just will have to get closer to get a more detailed picture!

Did you know there is a dedicated 100mm Pentax M Dental Macro lens? It'll do the trick for you. Impatiently waiting to see the result.

Yes, I do Kjell. I've bid on them on eBay but, was always out bid.
I know where I can get a Dyne macro ring flash for $75 that I would love to have, almost bought but, it's made for canon and I'm not sure I could make it work.
