Seeing the pic with the pile of stone balls reminds me of my family's trip there in 1976. We were told that those balls were the projectiles used by seige catapults. They were about 16 inches in diameter. I bet they made a nice bruise. I photographed everything I could. Still have them on slides, and soon will convert those. The people were the most interesting to me. Most were sincerely friendly. I later painted several in watercolor, and they turned out nicely. This is a place everyone should try to go. Next to Santorini, the most interesting over there to me.

Ronny - thank so much for the great tour - I agree that all are wonderful shots, but the night photo is the finest!

Absolutely gorgeous photos. The night shots are fantastic. I have never had much success with time exposures.
