Default Have you ever...

I know we have all taken shots of something that we thought would make a nice picture and have it fall way short of our expectations.
But, have you ever taken a test shot of something you really had no expectation of anything other than checking focal settings or EV or whatever, and having it turn out to be a rather nice photo? Well, I thought these 2 turned out pretty nice considering...
I played with them a little in PP, which do you prefer?

Yep - love the colors in the first one. That's why I prefer it, I think. And yes - once in a great while I've been pleasantly surprised by a test shot. Not often as most of the time I find mine turn out boring.

GW - Have had lots of shots I thought would be good, but were terrible, rarely the opposite. But yours is sure a great one! I like them all, but somehow the 3rd one appeals to me most, not really sure why...
