Lots of excellent photos this month but my vote goes to Daz. Very impressive, sharp photo maximizing depth of field.

I have again been struggling to make a pick this month.

There were some awesome shots illustrating depth of field.

For me in the end it came down to three. Jelpee, Doc and Paul. The reason I settled on these three is because of the thought pattern that went into the choice of subject matter.

For Jelpee it was an unusual choice of subject and the shot was pulled off so well.

Depth of field isolation and the use of it to lead my eye to the subject and tell me this is what is important, was what brought me to Paul and Doc's pictures.

The double entendre in Doc's image of seeing but not being able to play was well presented.

But in the end I had to give my vote to Paul (Trojansoc) for a classy well thought out image of the classic chess move.

The ones that have stuck with me the longest are Daz"s moody seascape and Ronny's now withdrawn church interior, so I will vote for Daz.

Any more votes? I'll close off the voting tomorrow, so everyone get their votes in today. I'll tally everything up tomorrow evening after work, so the voting will be closed at 6PM, Pacific Daylight Time.

It seems that every month the entries get better and better. I had a very hard time meaking a decision, but in the end, I have to vote for Jelpee's stadium seats. There are many superb entries this month, but that one tops my list.

P.S. -- Thank you Harriett, for providing a little extra time for us stragglers!

Daz' huge DOF was my first favorite and gets my vote, closely followed by the color and pattern of of Jelpee's.

Hope I'm not too late. As usual a difficult choice but I really like Jelpee's photo, so that's where my vote goes.
