Harriet,

I set up the camera today for raw + and shot some pictures at a birthday party. The only thing was I forgot to press the raw button. I am still used to the k100D.

Great pics Lou. When I first saw them I thought to myself "I really hope he had that lens out at the 400 end." I'm glad to read that you did, since it really looks like the plane was nearly on top of you!

Mtnman,

I have seen sea planes before operating out of the pond. I think this one may be a resident. Where I was the pond is about 1/4 mile wide so there was lots of room for his takeoff run. It was a very pretty plane.
