I like both very much. They have different qualities, the first one being a bit mysterious and open to interpretation, the second being more outspoken but nevertheless beautiful.
There's someone on "the other forum" who has a motto as a signature: "I try to take pictures about something, not of something". I like that motto, and I think you met it in these pictures.

It's amazing the differences in the mood of the image you can get with PP. I never do this but will consider it for some of my future images.

I agree with Kjell's observation, and would add that such an insightful title adds meaning and shows that the photographer is thinking about the subject as well as the picture.

Very nice pictures, I especially like the second one. Pictures are often strongest with some type of contrast, whether it be subject related or color or tone. To pull off all three, like you did here, is really striking.

magnificent view, really like it, and I'm sure after seeing the second shot I wouldn't have noticed the potential. I'll have to start looking better.
