Another great set of shots. That floating leaf is just an awesome picture, definitely my favorite though they are all spectacular (as usual). Thanks for taking me on your hike, though I'd rather be there in person.

The floating leaf is my favourite among these lovely shots.

Thanks to all - glad you enjoyed this little stroll!

Penolta - yes that leaf is a little different shot - not even one I had intended. Was waiting for the shadow darner to come back around again (sure wish the K-M could lock in on moving subjects!), and just saw the leaf floating by. Just a quick accidental shot...
About the falls - there was a 40' high waterfall near the mouth of Fall Creek, but it is now under a man-made lake! (note this is NOT Fall Creek Falls, a beautiful and high waterfall near Pikeville TN).

JohnG - Thanks! Glad you like them. It's easy to take pretty pictures in such lovely places!

GW - Too late, I've already taken all the good pictures. There aren't any left!!

Dr. C - thanks for your kind words, and hope to see you out on the trail sometime...

Simon - Thanks! It's always great to get to see different parts of our amazing earth!

Harriet - thanks! That floating leaf was just a happy accident - glad you liked it! You'll just have to come back east again one of these days...

Rodney - Thanks so much!

Mole, these shots are fantastic! The leaf floating on the water and the flowers are beautiful. The Shadow Darner in flight is a magnificent capture. How many shots did you take to get this one?

Your work affords you an abundance of marvelous photo opportunities and you are certainly making the most of them.

Another great series!

Lou

loved the walk, I always try to pick a shot that I want to make myself (in a different setting offcourse) and this time it's the floating leave.

Thanks for posting, and adding things to do to my list

Ronny

Looks like a great walk Mole and the leaf shot is certainly the pick of a great litter of photographs.

Thanks Tim, Patty & Lou - isn't it amazing how the "accidental" shots are sometimes the favorite!
