Default Wildlife Festival 2009

This Wildlife Festival is being held this weekend at the Niagara Power Vista in Niagara Falls NY next to Niagara University. Lots of wildlife present but it seems the predominant animal was the bird of prey, there were at least 4 groups that do rescue for birds of prey. Here are some of my shots. I did see one gentleman with a Pentax K200 standing near me in the tent where the group with the Bald Eagle was presenting. I used my Tamron 70-300mm lens for these.

Very nice portraits Mike! Got to agree with Hards80 above...white balance on the eagle shots may need some tuning.

I loved your photos but IMHO I think they would look better with a little bit of PP, especially the last one. The levels are a bit off. I did a little twicking on the last photo and it really improved a lot. I can send it to you, if you like.

Thank you everyone for the kind comments. vertigo, I'd be interested in seeing your PP change to that last photo and what changes you did.

I really didn't do much. Just did Auto Levels and Auto Contrast and then increase a little bit the saturation on the yellows.

I hope you like them and I sure hope you don't mind me twicking your photos...

Well, while vertigoPT was up loading his edit, I was trying my own just for the fun of it... I can't say its any better than his though, just different.
