LOL! Patty, it took me a second to figure out what you meant - good capture, and it seems very appropriate for the topic. Was he doing a cannon ball to get that much of a splash?

...when I arrived at my hair appointment, I checked my calendar to make sure I didn't mess up and arrive too early. Nope.

The halogen lighting and morning sun were nothing but a challenge here.

Not quite sure if this one qualifies - the people aren't there, but their shadows are!

Taken from the dam at Bays Mt Park, looking down into the sunlit lake waters.

Since this is a man-made lake, the lake itself is a sign of people with no people being there...

The replacement of steam locomotives with diesel has left the once thriving railroad town of Thurmond, WV abandoned. A unique feature of Thurmond was that Main street was the railroad tracks...
