Wonderful, mole. I can't decide which I like best.

We went out Sunday, too, to see what we could find up here. Haven't had a chance to go through them yet. Will probably bore everyone later with my shots as I'm noticing there are lots of topics about "fall colors".

Thanks for all the kind comments!

Lou - Yes it is amazing how much difference the quality of light can make.
Glad you enjoyed the "hike!" Perhaps we can have a real hike together someday...

Cameannee - thanks! This is indeed a gorgeous time of year, and Camp Creek a gorgeous place.

GW - you'll just have to return soon!

Sarah - Thanks so much. You have a great day too!
(will look forward to seeing how you enjoy your new K-X. If you don't like it, I'm sure I can find a home for it!!!)

Patty - thanks! Yes, it does seem that Autumnal tints are a "hot topic" these days. And we are seeing LOTS of "leaf lookers" in the parks. Will look forward to seeing your autumn photos too!

Rodney - Glad you enjoyed the hike - thanks!

wow, the sun breaking through! i'm glad that it did for you and for us getting to see the pictures of it!!although, i would have to say that the one after the firetower, with the fog, is also one of my favorites of this series, so i am glad you had to hike through the fog too : )

ps this leaf picture looks much less posed to me than the other ones that i have commented about. i wonder why? i think partly because there is another leaf in the background, so it seems less placed-there, and maybe more like it fell there.
