Default Vacation Day 3... A lot more pix

On day 3, we arrived at the cabin at the "Meadow Creek Rustic Mountain Resort" It was a pretty nice place... I unloaded the car while Linda ran around taking pix of the cabin, inside and out. I think somethings wrong with this picture...

This is the front, or the side with the view both up stairs and down...

outside view...

The kitchen, dinning room / living room area was nice too

We got the up stairs bed room...

The cabin was nice but I couldn't figure out why they had such a low profile sink in the bath room... Maybe they were expecting really short people?

After resting up a bit it was off to eat dinner and do a little dancing...

they had a real nice band that played both southern blues and country plus a little rock n roll...

Brother Jim and his wife Lynn are both good dancers...

Linda and I do the best we can...

As do a few other couples.

A birds eye view...

I hope you're enjoyin our vacation as much as we did...
More to come tomorrow.

Woow, GW, I'm not sure I could leave the front porch with that stunning view. I could be very happy sitting on that Adirondack chair, sipping my morning coffee.

Looks like a great place to relax and unwind.

Great view, nice music, so you can overlook having to wash your face in that low sink! LOL

How quaint. I wouldn't want to leave. The views inside and out are stunning.

I'm glad you showed some other people dancing. I was beginning to think you, Linda, Jim and Lynn were the only people there.

Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Your vacation sure looks like fun! Love the view, and what is it that you are carrying? It almost looks like a monitor or something like that, but surely that can't be right, can it?

Thanks guys for looking and commenting.
It's true, I would have loved to have spent a lot more time at the cabin itself but, there was so much to do and see we we barely there.

This was only the second weekend the restaurant and bar was open since closing after the owner retired and sold the resort so there wasn't a lot of people there and those were at the bar or tables close by. neither my brother and his wife nor Linda and I drink so, we were more interested in being closer to the dance floor. in fact they let us move the two tables and chairs into the center of the floor so we could dance all the way around the outside perimeter.
Those of you that two step and and other couple dances know what it means to have that option.

Quite right Lou! the bidet was kind of a strange touch. It did come in handy for Linda's sore feet though.
