Am I alone in thinking this would be a bad move in the American market? Would the camera's image become that of a toy and not be taken seriously?

i don't think it would sell in the american market.

i think some of the other color combinations would work, and in fact they are bringing a few of them over here. i was hoping for more ability to mix and match colors like japan. but not to the extreme of this one lol.

i think they could sell some camera's in the US if they offered a camo version, with some realtree or something.
