Very nice Penolta, macro shots of nature in action are my favorites. Thanks also for sharing the info on the color changing, I was looking at a yellow crab spider this past week that so perfectly matched the color of the flower it was on, I had to wonder if the species could do that. I waited to see if he would have any luck hunting as there were bees working the flowers but he (and I) came up empty.

Thanks, Tim. The white one was pretty conspicuous against the colors of the milkweed flowers, but it didn't seem to matter to the bee . . . until it was too late! Actually, insects see a different spectral range than we do, so who knows what it looked like to the bee? Did you get a picture of the yellow one?
