I'm not one for cloning things out of photos either. But, it does look better without the stick.

Great job on the rainbow - they are always so hard to photograph accurately. And I agree that the "stickless" version looks better. Thanks for sharing!

I like the way the highway lines lead the eye into the frame of the first, and I agree with the others -- the second one is improved without the post. I know different people have different opinions on whether cloning out a distraction is appropriate. For whatever it's worth, my opinion is that it depends on the situation. I would never clone something out of a photo if I were trying to photo-document a situation. But if I just want to make a pretty picture I don't hesitate to clone out telephone wires or other distracting elements. Of course there are as many opinions on this issue as there are photographers.

Terrific capture of the rainbow with or without the stick. It's a picture you can be proud to have taken.

It was possible to walk along this side of the reservoir only because of very low water level. Usually the water is as hight as the trees.

I've got more photos from this area, but from different days. I'll add some later.

Goldwinger: in England and most of the Europe I think.

Well that explains it, You not only got your line colours wrong... I hear you drive on the wrong side of the street too!

Bloody nice photo though.

Hehe, I'm not from England originally so I'm with you on this one. But they say everyone else is driving on the wrong side .
