Default A Few From the Garden

Cannas and Black Eyed Susans are done for, but the Gold Finches will be loving the seeds.

The Pot Mums just start to bloom.

A few Dwarf Holly Hocks continue to bloom. Focus is off but I liked the color.

And some more

And finally my Hydranga that I can't get to bloom, but the fall foliage is nice.

Thanks for looking.

I like the mum picture, they are such fun flowers to photograph. The others are very nice also, but that's my favorite. And as far as the hydranga goes, who cares about flowers when you can get interesting fall color like that?

Thanks, GW.
We had a rather bad summer this year, and I've been struggling with a partially torn achilles tendon since mid-June so I haven't been out with the camera much.

Thanks, Harriet. Our daughter-in-law gave us the mums in the spring, and they just bloomed again this week. If I knew what I was doing you can get the Hydrangas to bloom in blue to pink by varying the soil PH, but I can't get them to flower at all.

Jim - sure do hope and pray things turn around for you soon, and that all is healing well. Thanks for the tour of your garden - I especially like the composition and use of DOF on the mums, but all are great!

I agree with others, the colours are lovely and the mums are the stand out ones.
