Hi all,
on the subject of size, I started talking to a guy with Cannon gear with a monster lens mounted on a Eos 20D, on a monopod, a 500-600 mm I can't remember. I asked if he was a pro, 'cause I thought it strange that he was in the crowd looking for a good vantage point as I was. He said "no", he was a part timer like me, Hmm I thought, "How much was your lens?" "I'm renting it!"he said .WHAT! I thought, $270.00 for the weekend.
There you are, I can't find anyone renting Pentax gear, but you can get a special lens for very little money for one of "them". I suppose that's the penalty for being one of the "minor" players.
Is this the case out there in the big wide world, has anyone a Pentax rental store 'round the corner.
