Default Sanibel Sunrise

Sanibel Island, FL runs north & south in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Fort Meyers. This offers the opportunity of taking sunrises & sunsets. Taken on the last day of daylight savings (sunrise was @ 7:35 AM-reasonable). Ist DS with DA 55-300-shot in RAW-bulk processed in Elements 5.0-minor cropping. Fort Meyers skyline in the background.

That is a glorious sunrise! I might suggest a crop to place the horizon at the bottom 1/3rd division line to call more attention to the sun and the sky. Beautiful color of the sky..what white balance did you use?

Got tired of fooling around with white balance so I shoot in RAW-then have PS Elements 5.0 convert to a Jpeg-IMHO Adobe does a much better job than Pentax processing the shot. Didn't change any colors at all-just cropped and resized for posting.
